By adding AMTETRA, the following outstanding properties can be imparted to the matrix (resin or rubber).

1. Mitigation of Anisotropy and Reduction of Warpage

Mechanism: When used in combination with carbon fibers or glass fibers, the 3D shape of AMTETRA disrupts the fiber orientation.

Effect: It mitigates shrinkage anisotropy and drastically reduces the warpage and twisting of molded products. This significantly improves the dimensional accuracy of precision-molded components.

2. Improvement of Surface Smoothness

Mechanism: During the molding process, AMTETRA gathers at the surface (skin layer), effectively pushing the fiber fillers down into the core layer.

Effect: It suppresses fiber protrusion, achieving a beautifully smooth surface finish.

3. Enhancement of Wear Resistance and Sliding Properties

Mechanism: The single-crystal structure provides a strong micro-reinforcement effect.

Effect: It significantly minimizes the wear of resins and rubbers, reduces the coefficient of friction, and mitigates damage (aggressiveness) to mating materials.

4. Efficient Thermal and Electrical Conductivity (Bridging Effect)

Mechanism: The 3D “legs” of the tetrapod form pathways, acting as bridges that connect other filler particles.

Effect: It efficiently dissipates heat and static electricity, enhancing thermal conductivity and antistatic functions even with a small addition amount.

5. Improvement of Braking Performance and Grip
